An enjoyable and unforgettable evening during our stay in Dublin. Dinner and more than a wee bit of humor, music and dance. Recommend purchasing your tickets well ahead of the evening, as they often have large groups in attendance.

Well deserved 5 star review for these amazing guys. We had these guys play for day 2 of our wedding in Rathsallagh House. Very chilled, flexible and reasonably priced.When Declan and the guys started playing we were all insantly blown away. Declan on the whistles was just unbelievable - Not only some Dance music - Ibiza classics but The Lonesome Boatman incorporating Britney Spears back to Lonesome Boatman and then Bon Jovi ....enough said!! Blew any expectations we had out of the water. The feedback from guests was fantastic - Thank you guys!!

If there is one thing you do while in Dublin, this is a MUST SEE.I have to admit I wasn't expecting much as I'm not much into musical routines.However, I was pleasantly surprised as I really really enjoyed the comedy, the instruments, and the storytelling. In fact I became very interested in the uilleannpipes as I was amazed what a skilled performer could do with this instrument and the history of this music.Then my breath was taken away and I was mesmerized. I saw Róisín dance. Oh wow. She was so amazing, her skill, how fluid she was and what she could do was incredible. The smile she had when she was interacting with the Audience was just awesome. The speed and precision all without breaking a sweat and her feet were a blur, with every dance she performed in concert with the Irish music was just amazing.

An Irish Experience My girlfriend and I went to The Irish House Party and had a wonderful evening we will remember. I have been to other Irish music and dancing nights in Dublin and found this to be very intimate, a place where you felt the wonderful personalities of the Irish musicians. A very special evening to experience the wonderful Irish culture. I would recommend grabbing your drink from the pub before heading into the show … this is what the Irish would do.

Great Dinner, Music and Dance Dinner tasted wonderful, with excellent choices and fine service.Entertainment was excellent. Traditional Irish music was great, the dancing was just as good. The band was lighthearted, the man who served as “MC” was informative and funny.A terrific evening all around.

Great food and entertainment! We had a lovely evening, the food was delicious, but the entertainment afterwards was also really good, great craic, stories, music and Irish dancing. If it’s your first time in Dublin, it’s certainly worth a visit!

One NOT to miss ! I attended both the meal and show with my husband and son on the 18th for my birthday. The meal and service were excellent, even had a candle on my dessert and the whole room singing happy birthday to me..... The show was amazing, musicians and dancer transported the audience with their dexterity, proficiency and general joie de vivre. This is an evening not to miss and is great value for money, don't hesitate to book. In fact, when I return to Dublin I shall attend The Irish House Party again..... great craic. Thank you all, the evening rounded off my birthday wonderfully.

90 minutes of pure enjoyment! We opted to only go to the show which lasted about 90 minutes. The venue is small and we sat in the second row. I would guess there were about 100 customers in attendance. The cast consisted of 4 people, 3 men and one woman. The show was a mixture of music, stories ( both serious and comic) and some dance routines. The show was non stop enjoyment. The music was excellent, the story telling was interesting and the dancing was thunderous. It was the best night we have ever had in Dublin over our 4 or 5 visits. We are going back to Ireland next year and I am sure this is one thing we will likely repeat.

The Show

At last an Irish music and dance show in Dublin without the clichés that usually follow. Not a flat cap, leprechaun or waistcoat in sight but instead, incredibly talented musicians and dancers bringing to you the sound and fun of Ireland. The dinner and show takes place in a beautiful 18th Century Dublin townhouse. Why not enjoy a drink in the Den Bar with the locals while you wait to be seated by your maitre d. If you have not booked the dinner option arrival time is 7.45pm

Dinner is served at 6.30pm. Enjoy a delicious three course meal from our choice menu. Vegetarian and gluten free options are also available. A full bar drinks menu is also available on the night.

The show begins at 8pm when our performers take to the stage. Prepare to be blown away by the amazing talent from our All Ireland champion musicians and dancers.

The show finishes at 9.30pm and you will then have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the artists themselves. Why not round off the evening with a late drink in the bar afterwards. Taxis are readily available at the hotel.

Where exactly are you located in Dublin?

The show takes place at The Lansdowne Hotel, 27 Pembroke Road, Dublin 4. Click on map here. The easiest way to get to us is by taxi. We are only 15 minutes from Dublin city centre.

Can I get there by bus?

Yes, the 39, the 39a, the 38 , the 38a and the 70. The Stop is 753 on Waterloo Road, Pembroke Lane

Is there parking at the hotel?

There is free parking at the front of the hotel on Pembroke Road from 7pm (Paid parking until 7pm) and free parking on the adjacent road Wellington Road from 6.30pm (Paid parking until 6.30pm)

Can I book a taxi at the hotel after the show finishes?

The quickest way to get a taxi is to hail one at the front of the hotel. There are numerous taxis passing by after the show.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We pride ourselves in being a smaller more intimate experience than all of the other cabaret type shows in Dublin. Places fill up fast so we would advise booking as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.

What time should I arrive?

If you have booked the Dinner and Show the arrival time is 6pm. If you have booked the show only the arrival time is 7.45pm

What time does the show finish?

The show finishes at 9.30pm

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately we are not wheelchair accessible as we are a listed 18th century building.

Are children allowed attend?

Yes we are family friendly and children can attend. Minimum age is 5 years old.

Do you cater for food allergies and intolerances?

Yes we do. Please let us know in advance if possible or inform your waiter on the night if you have any special food requirements.

Are there vegetarian options available?

Yes there will be vegetarian options available on the night

Are there drinks available during the show?

Yes drinks can be purchased on the night. We have a full bar menu available.

What are the terms and conditions of my booking?

Beverages are not included in the ticket price but can be purchased on the night.
We do not post tickets for the show. You may print off your email or show us your email confirmation on your phone on the night.
Every effort is made to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies. Please contact us is advance if you have any special requests.
Minors (under 18 years of age) are permitted to attend The Irish House Party as long as they are accompanied by an adult supervisor. Minimum age is 5 years old
Arrival Time for Dinner and Show is 6.00pm. Late arrivers may miss their starters.
Arrival Time for Show Only is 7.45pm
Cancellations: We will refund in full any cancellations made up to 48 hours in advance of the show date. (minus booking fee)
Show cancellations from our side are extremely rare however we reserve the right to cancel a show. A full refund will be given in such cases.
By your agreement to these booking conditions The Irish House Party shall be under no liability for loss, injury or damage to you or your property.

How can I cancel my reservation If I booked via a third party website?

All reservations made through third-party websites must be amended or cancelled directly with the third-party website. We cannot do that on your behalf. Please note that third party websites and online travel agents have their own cancellation policies so please refer to your confirmation email to check for details.
